Nepal is one of the poorest countries. Maternal and Neonatal mortality in Nepal is among the highest in the world. Because of the lack of functional basic health care, the remote village has the highest mortality in the country. The “Maternal and Child Health Care” project was developed by HHESS with the financial support of Agnes B Foundation, France to improve the health and welfare of woman and children in the (Mahottari and Dhanusa districts) of Terai region and to enhance the effectiveness of current efforts by the government.
