SSP was started in 2006 establishing a primary school, formerly known as Phaplu Community School, and subsequently upgraded as “Zeke O’ Connor School” with further support from Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation Canada (SEHFC) offering pure science education up to Grade 12 with the provision of free education for students. The UN WFP has also provided One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) support in the same school since 2010. Besides, organizations like “Com”, “Australian in Singapore”, “Power of One USA” have also provided support to the SSP implementation.
